Palladium is one of the platinum group of metals and is one of the most hard wearing metals, palladium is a naturally bright white metal and is 95% pure.
Palladium is broken down into 95% pure palladium and 5% other alloy.
Palladium is a very similar metal to platinum, they are of the same purity and colour, however palladium wedding rings are less dence giving it a lighter feel on the finger. Most gents prefer palladium due to the feel of the weight on the finger which can be more comfortable if they are not used to wearing jewellery but want to match their wives wedding ring if she is has platinum.
The palldium metal is not as old as gold but has been around as a pure metal for more than 200years. It was discovered in 1803 and named after the Greek Goddess Pallas Athena - The Goddess of wisdom and war.
Palladium wedding rings are very hard wearing but will scratch like any other metal, this is easily rectified via a professional polishing process, which we can provide on site and sometimes we can do this process on the same day.
