Platinum / Palladium Eternity Rings
Eternity rings in both platinum and palldium are becoming increasingly popular due to the natural bright white colour of the metal giving a lovely contempory look when set with white diamonds.
An eternity ring symbolises an eternal love and can be given at any point of a relationship but the most popular time seems to be after the birth of your first child or on your one year anniversary.
Eternity rings can start from as little as 4 or more stones right up to a full row of stones. Although a full row of diamonds look very effective they unfortunatley are not very practical as they can not be sized, and even though diamonds are an extremely hard stones they can still crack when put under pressure i.e. when gripping door handles etc. To get a full eternity ring look we suggest maybe an eternity ring that is half way set or even 3/4 set to allow for sizing and wear and tear.
The advantages to having a platinum or palladium eternity ring is that they are both very hard wearing precious metals and are both naturally white metals and will not require rhodium plating unlike white gold.
